We are currently seeking software engineers who are passionate about working with modern web applications that are backed by a Grails service stack.
As a member of the Groovy, Grails, and Micronaut Team at OCI, you’ll work alongside leading industry engineers to create and deliver innovative and performant software solutions to OCI customers and clients.  Our products are backed by an active OSS community and are used by developers around the globe.  Working with products at OCI, you will have the opportunity to build software solutions that make use of features at the cutting edge of modern application development on the JVM.  Additionally, our team members are regularly invited to present at technical conferences or user groups and author technical articles.
The ideal candidate believes in delivering solid and well-tested software solutions to their customers and can distill client communications into requirements, provide estimates, and consistently deliver positive experiences.  Technical proficiency with Groovy and Grails is required.  A willingness to grow and enhance expertise in one or more OCI products (including Grails) is required. Experience with one or more additional JVM languages (e.g. Kotlin, Scala) is preferred, but not required.  Previous experience contributing to open-source software projects is preferred, but not required.

  • Open-source contributions to 2GM products as requested
  • Representation of 2GM team and products to internal OCI practices, teams, and initiatives
