Growth associate (San Francisco/hybrid)

The Growth team at Persona is focused on executing on a product-led growth strategy to drive new functionality and experiences that increase product adoption, engagement, and expansion for startup customers. The growth associate will support the development and innovation of our self-serve experiences by understanding our customer journey, identifying gaps in our growth engine, working with stakeholders to deliver results, and building flows to help prospects and customers better understand the platform.
What you will achieve
- Develop an understanding of complex customer use cases and technologies, and succinctly curate and translate scalable solutions into the Growth roadmap
- Deliver experiences that teach customers about product offerings and how to use features
- Support the sprint process through project management practices
- Review, QA, track bugs, and spec roadmap items to improve user experiences and features
- Support relationships with affiliate and ecosystem partners to drive startups to Persona
- Crafting messaging and offers appropriate for partner channels
- Collaborate with product managers, product marketers, and functional marketing experts to deliver holistic experiences for product and feature onboarding experiences
- Investigate and prioritize areas of the customer experience and execute on experimentation to drive business impact
- Partner with sales to improve qualification process
- Build dashboards in SQL and develop cohort analyses for campaigns in business intelligence and product analytics tools. Codify and share learnings with stakeholders and foster a culture of data and learning
- Unblock marketing stakeholders via analyses and assist in the development of a holistic growth tech stack
What you will bring to Persona
- At least 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in growth, analytics, marketing, or related functions
- You are a strong collaborator and scrupulous thought partner
- You are highly organized, able to manage and prioritize multiple moving parts
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
- You can give and solicit feedback in order to raise the quality bar
- You think about building excellent processes
- You are comfortable manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends and connecting a multitude of data sources. Basic proficiency in SQL and advanced in Excel functions.
- You are self-driven and have a “get it done” attitude — you are comfortable navigating ambiguity, relentlessly prioritize based upon business impact, and are able to keep multiple workstreams on track in an extremely fast-moving environment.
- You are data-driven — you like to approach problems from a data-driven perspective using SQL and if appropriate, proxies to find answers and insights
- You are curious — you like to develop deep customer, product, and industry knowledge so you can draw the connections. You optimize for learning at every stop.
- You are a strong communicator — you have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can distill complex technical and business concepts to non-technical audiences.
