About the Role:
Nubank is a technology company that is redefining the standard of the financial services industry in Brazil. The media team is responsible for Nubank's media strategy, tactics, and implementation, from upper to lower funnel, considering the best channels for each business and comms goal, based on data and creativity.
The Growth Media Lead is a senior individual contributor responsible for leading the paid media strategy agenda and taking it to the next level, delivering smart-efficient initiatives, and paving the path of a constant test-and-learn approach to optimize existing channels and explore new ones.
As a Growth Media Lead, you’re expected to:
- Driving new customer acquisition, through different strategies and working together with the rest of the performance media team to align and improve Growth’s KPIs: CAC, ROAS, CPA, LTV (NPV), etc…
- Consolidating annual Growth paid media channels agenda from strategy to flawless execution, ensuring key projects progress towards OKR accomplishment and effective communication with Growth Leadership.
- Building and improving constantly the long-term audience agenda, looking to expand performance media reach to bring new applicants sustainably in the long term.
- Ensuring a consistent A/B testing roadmap in paid channels is aligned to Growth’s priorities and making sure to constantly incorporate new efficiency proposals.
- Collaborating with a cross-functional team (Business Analytics, Brand, Creative, Content, etc….) to ensure consistent hypergrowth of main indicators
- Helping the media team scale and automate existing processes that can be simplified (insights generation, budget tracking, media partner payments, etc…)
- We are collaborating with the finance/ marketing team to stay within budget.
- Become strategic liaison to the Growth Marketing Lead, Head of Lead Generation, and Head of Growth Analytics.
- Staying current with emerging opportunities in the performance-paid media world.
What are we looking for?
- 8+ years of experience in performance-based media, at least 6+ in performance media strategy.
- Deep technical understanding of top paid channels: Google, Meta, and TikTok.
- Top-notch analytical skills, with a proven ability to work through data and present opportunities and actionable insights to Growth leadership.
- Great cross-functional communicator, putting data together and converting it into a compelling data-driven story constantly across Growth leadership forums.
- Vast experience working with analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
- Understanding of SQL for creating and pulling basic queries involving media data using Big Query.
- Capable of creating and maintaining basic to intermediate dashboards in Looker.
- Great business judgment and ability (and interest) to propose changes in Growth’s strategy and operations.
- Self-starter and ability to work independently.
- Hands-on and willing to get hands dirty on execution.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Optional but ideal: to be familiar with the finance industry ecosystem and know-how business metrics connect with the paid media ecosystem for integral decision-making.
- Optional but ideal: have experience leading organic acquisition strategies to be part of projects like Technical SEO, ASO, referral programs, etc…
