Hardware Design Engineer
TLDR
Develop embedded hardware designs and test strategies for battery-powered systems, covering schematic capture, PCB layout, ARM-based SoCs, and Linux-based C/C++ testing.
- BS or higher in EE/CSE
- 3 to 5 years experience with Embedded Hardware Design
- Must have experience with Schematic Design and Board Layout (preferably in Eagle)
- Digital and Analog Circuit Design experience
- Microprocessor/SoC hands-on experience (preferably with ARM)
- Experience with Soldering Surface Mount Components
- Experience writing Design Specifications and other Design Documentation
- Previous experience with designing Small Battery Systems
- Strong C/C++ programming experience in Linux environment
- Current knowledge of Electronics Components and Systems
- Read and Interpret Product Specifications and Software Requirement Specifications
- Experience in writing software tests in C and Python
- Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python
- Embedded Hardware-Software Testing Experience
- Develop Test Strategies and Establish Test Procedures
- Design, Implement, and Execute Manual and Automated Tests
