About the role

As the Head of Community, you will be leading a team of local Community Managers, whose mission is to organically grow our local communities and establish relationships with influencers, KOLs and other key stakeholders in their respective countries in Europe. Together with the Community Managers, you’ll establish a plan to maximize the growth of our local communities. You’ll be setting the KPIs/OKRs for each Community Manager and use your proven experience to assist them in reaching their targets, while further helping them develop their skill sets. You will be a part of our Global Community Management team and reports directly to the Global Community Management Director.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and work closely together with a team of community managers to expand and strengthen Crypto.com’s local communities
  • Be responsible for the growth and maintenance of our relationships with local influencers and KOL’s
  • Develop a strategic community growth plan with monthly and quarterly KPIs and OKRs for each respective country
  • Develop a career development plan for each Community Manager
  • Work closely together with internal teams during campaigns and online activities
  • Establish and document formalized workflows
  • Provide frequent performance reports to management
  • Collaborate with a global team of regional heads of community to ensure learning, tactics and insights are shared across markets

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in managing (remote) teams
  • Ability to write and speak fluent English in a professional manner
  • High self-awareness, with the ability to adapt to different levels and backgrounds within the organization
  • Solid understanding of crypto and blockchain
  • Experience building and managing on and offline communities
  • Experience managing social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Reddit and Discord
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Comfortable with speaking in public
  • Experience developing and transforming organizational work flows to maximize a team's output
  • Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a distributed team environment, spanning multiple time zones and geographies.
  • Preferably, experience with tools like Confluence, Excel, Google Suite, and Tableau
