Head of Domain Name Portfolio Management

We are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Domain Portfolio Management to join our team as we continue to grow and manage domain portfolios for our clients. The Head of Domain Portfolio Management will manage all aspects of a Domain Portfolio, including but not limited to: Acquisitions, Domain Sales, Dispute Resolution Support, Renewals, Contact Maintenance, and DNS Maintenance. The role will likely involve building and growing a portfolio management team over time. The ability to work effectively and proactively while improving processes is critical.

What you’ll do:

• Manage domain name renewals and transfers.
• Use our proprietary software to manage and monitor domain name acquisitions for clients.
• Portfolio maintenance - domain contact and dns maintenance and monitoring.
• Management of our Whois Privacy Service for client domains.
• Optimize and monetize domain name portfolios.
• Sales - respond to all inbound sale inquiries, negotiate and fulfill any transactions, manage all marketplace listings and sales, outsource sales leads to third parties, and manage those third parties.
• Renewals - review domains, process renewals. Optimize revenue generated from expiring managed domains through discount listings on Afternic, Sedo, and DNWE.com.
• Brokering - perform outbound communication on top tier domains.

Requirements

Must have:

• Highly skilled in Excel
• Great attention to detail - we work with a very large number of domain names, attention to detail and precision are critical
• Strong linguistic skills
• Have a detail-oriented mindset
• Open to feedback; someone who is willing to learn and grow
• Proactive and vocal with suggestions and improvements
• Long term thinking - we value investing in our employees and helping them grow and prosper over the long term

Nice to have:

• 3+ years of domain name industry experience
• Proven experience in the domain monetization journey from acquisition, monetization to sale.
• Passionate about domain names
• Completion of DN Academy
• Domain broker experience
• Domain parking company experience
• Live in the UK
