We are looking for a hardworking Head of Information Security to join our security team and continue to grow our outstanding security and compliance program. This person will lead a team of specialists responsible for the governance, risk, and compliance aspects of our security program. They will partner closely with other groups on multi-functional initiatives, including oversight of project management for security audits and domestic and international compliance regulations. This individual will be a business facilitator and provide a hands-on approach in counseling the business and commercial negotiations on security and compliance matters related to the marketing and sales of our solutions and services.
This role will report directly to our EVP & General Counsel and will be their right hand as the Company enters into its next stage of hyper growth.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Partner with our go-to-market teams to enable customer acquisition & retention, by operating as a sponsor to certain customers and participating in the sales cycle (e.g. meeting with customers, negotiating security/privacy language in deals, educating sales teams on our security practices & capabilities, etc.)
- Prepare and report security and compliance metrics to senior management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors
- Maintain and improve existing security and compliance policies and procedures
- Support and coordinate internal and external audits for the areas of Information Security Compliance, Privacy, and Risk Management
- Own security company-wide training and be familiar with security training SaaS solutions. You love to present to large groups! Compliance with all security policies and procedures will be your job to carry out.
You'll Enjoy This Role if You Have:
- Master of Information Security
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- 5-10 years of demonstrated ability in the Information Security or technical-related field with 5+ years experience with leading teams
- Experience implementing information security industry and frameworks, specifically NIST and CIS Controls, knowledge of CSAT, a plus
- Experience with RFP/InfoSec assessment SaaS solutions, a plus
- Familiarity with SIG
- Experience with SOC 2 Type is a must, ISO-27001 a nice to have
- Knowledge and/or experience of GDPR and CCPA
