PayMongo builds the most advanced online payments infrastructure in SE Asia, starting in the Philippines. As Head of People, you will help make PayMongo a great place to work and grow. You will lead the team that will help shape the future of our company and amplify PayMongo's efforts to attract, recruit and retain the best and most diverse talents. Your experience in managing HR teams will also be critical in applying systems and methods to improve our internal People processes and devise ways to better utilize our core tools. Through your leadership, you will help PayMongo employees navigate through our processes and programs, help them advance in their careers and support them throughout their employment at PayMongo.
You will
- Lead the People team in the development, implementation and evaluation of best in class people strategies that support PayMongo in achieving its vision, mission and strategic goals.
- Ensure that we have the right programs and processes to make sure that every PayMongo employee is productive, feels supported and has positive experiences overall.
- Create and execute on our talent strategy including growth, remote vs in-office plan and assess and address skill and talent gaps throughout the company.
- Build programs and systems to ensure our talent is correctly allocated to the right priorities.
- Partner with senior leaders across the organization to understand their hiring objectives and develop team recruiting strategies to hit headcount goals.
- Work with market data on cash, bonus and equity to help design our compensation framework.
- Ensure that the management and the Board are sufficiently informed and engaged about People activities to enable them to effectively discharge their duties.
You may be fit if
- You have years of experience in operations, management consulting and equivalent strategy experience and have coordinate and led HR team in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
- You possess exceptional people management skills with at least five (5) years of experience leading a team.
- You have an excellent attention to detail, with the ability and patience to audit and dive deep into data to determine patterns and check for inaccuracies.
- You are experienced in working with and optimizing HR platforms.
- You show strong analytical skills, proven ability to execute processes and a flexible approach to problem-solving.
- You have a significant experience of leading organizations, senior managers and teams through organizational change driving a performance culture and developing high performing leaders, employees and teams.
- You have a clear communication style, and the willingness to tailor your message to different audiences—including the ability to work with senior management.
- You are relentless in finding and connecting with the best talent.
- You are curious about how workforce design can drive growth.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and are truly flexible—our environment changes rapidly, and your work might too!
- You have the curiosity about the tech industry and interest in HR trends, products and services.
