Head of Product - AI

The Head of Product - AI will play a pivotal role in driving the vision, development, and successful launch of our AI Governance solution. This leadership role requires a seasoned product leader with a proven track record in developing & launching products from ‘zero to one’, a deep understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Product Strategy:

• Develop and articulate a comprehensive product strategy for our AI Governance product driven by customer needs, the competitive landscape and technological trends.
• Establish and communicate a clear vision for the product that aligns with both market needs and Casper Labs’ strategic goals.
• Create and manage a product roadmap that prioritizes features and resource allocation to accelerate our path to revenue
• Make data-driven decisions and adjustments to the roadmap based on market dynamics, customer needs, and business objectives.
• Act as the owner and ‘general manager’ of our AI Governance product

Lead Product Development:

• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle in partnership with our Program Management team and IBM partners, from ideation to launch, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Ensure the product team maintains a deep understanding of customer needs and translates these into product features.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the product, the broader AI solution, and customer technology landscape, partnering with the development team through technical challenges.

Cross Functional Leadership & Collaboration:

• Demonstrate leadership for the cross functional AI Governance product team across engineering, product management, marketing, and sales.
• Manage relationships and communicate regularly with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and address any issues promptly and proactively.

Drive Adoption and Revenue Generation:

• Design, oversee, and drive our Beta Program, bringing the voice of the customer into product development, driving engagement with early adopters, and identifying potential reference customers.
• Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product adoption, engagement, and identify areas for improvement.
• Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to successfully launch the product in the market, land reference enterprise customers, drive user adoption, and secure enterprise software and services revenue.
• Act as an evangelist for our product in the market, engaging with partners and prospects on key deals, at events and through our thought leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
• Strong understanding of the AI landscape including large language models, natural language processing, and generative AI. Knowledge of AI/ML software stack and software engineering experience is a plus.
• Proven product management experience in a scale up, ideally with a focus on AI solutions.
• Track record of building & launching commercially successful enterprise software products from ‘zero to one’.
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills - highly data driven.
• Excellent cross functional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
