Head of Supply Chain Operations

Here at Gousto, we’re on a mission to become Britain’s favourite way to eat dinner and we’re scaling fast!

To support our expansion plans we are opening additional fulfillment centres across the UK. Our 2nd Spalding site went live at the end of ‘20, followed by Thurrock and Warrington later in 2021. We are also currently complementing our own facilities with a third party packing operation to support the additional demand. Our supply chain operations must continue to scale at pace to support the delivery of our expanding multi site operation and complex proposition roadmap.

As Head of Supply Chain Operations you will lead a growing team who manage every stage of the primary supply chain, responsible for maximising availability, minimising waste and balancing stock correctly across our multi-site network, ensuring that the right stock is at the right site at the right time.

Within this role you will have large scale autonomy and be able to make a huge impact, whilst working as part of a truly cross-functional team.

Our measure of success will be:

• Clear deliverable plans in place to scale the supply chain operation for people, process and technology.

• Clear visibility of performance in real time of our Supply chain, you will find ways of predicting issues in our Supply chain through the use of data and AI to avoid them vs a dashboard for crashed aeroplanes

• A highly engaged workforce that will move mountains for you and you for them.

• A noiseless BAU Supply Chain Operation.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in leading a multi site E commerce supply chain operation. You will need to display experience of working within a fast pace, high growth environment. An inspirational leadership style is required, with experience of leading teams of Senior Managers. You will also need a deep understanding of Supply chain systems and tools.
