HR Generalist (EMEA & APAC)

Smartly.io is scaling fast! To support this growth we are looking for an HR Generalist to join our EMEA & APAC HR Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across our multiple locations to ensure smooth HR operations and help support and deliver a great employee experience in our hybrid first company. 

You will report to the HR Lead in EMEA & APAC and work closely with our HR Business Partners, payroll and the rest of the global people team. As a Human Resources Generalist you will…

• Assist with the employee life cycle from beginning to end
• Help create, implement and administer HR policies and procedures
• Help ensure HR compliance in our EMEA and APAC locations (contract revisions, accurate documentation, legal requirements, work union guidelines)
• Support HR Business Partners 
• Own or Support with local and global HR projects and initiatives, ranging from hybrid work to performance management topics

We are looking for you if you have…

• A proven track record in HR in an international setting 
• An understanding of EMEA employment laws as well as general HR policies and practices
• Excellent problem solving skills 
• Attention to detail and ability to handle highly confidential information
• Knowledge of HR databases and candidate management systems (BambooHR, Greenhouse, Workday, etc.)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work independently and with a team
