About the Implementation Manager at Headspace:
Headspace for Work is an employee mental health solution for modern organizations that combines a popular, science-based application with a program fit for the enterprise. The Customer Success group engages our corporate customers to drive Headspace adoption, engagement and demonstrate ongoing value as we build more mindful workplace cultures. It works with the rest of the Headspace organization to uncover new ways to make Headspace a part of everyday life and to improve our product.
As an Implementation Manager at Headspace, you will be responsible for the success of the implementation and launch of our Strategic and Enterprise customers. You’ll set the tone for our partnership, be the client’s internal advocate, and work closely with the sales and customer success team as well as all necessary internal stakeholders. This role will report directly to the Manager of Implementation.
Location: This role is open to remote employees in select US states: California, New York, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Maryland + Washington DC, North Carolina and Washington.

- Owns the onboarding of our strategic and large enterprise customers to our Headspace for Work platform, as well as channel partner implementations and integrations
- Project manage across multiple works streams at once
- Maintain overall project ownership and deliverables
- Collaborate with customer on program launch strategy to organization’s population
- Manage all communication with customer, work to resolve all requests and questions
- Own the technical implementation - connect customer HRIS and Headspace systems, test customer eligibility files for implementation, integrations, and SSO implementations.
- Advise and consult with customer on how best to utilize Headspace for Work platform in conjunction with their own needs
- Work to understand customers overall experience and feedback
- Work cross functionally with product, engineering, business intelligence, marketing to rollout, iterate and improve current processes.
- Work with multiple internal and customer stakeholders both technical and nontechnical
- Manage a high level of service as you walk customers through this process
- Own customers experience through a 60 day implementation and first 30 days post launch
- Manage handoff from Sales to Implementation to Customer Success to insure the best customer experience
- Excited about being tied to revenue and NPS targets
What you’ve accomplished:
- 3+ years in Implementation Management, Customer Success, Project Management, Relationship Management, Account Management, or similar role working with enterprise sized customers
- Strong project management skills (you’ll be responsible for managing multiple work streams per project, and multiple projects at once)
- Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative and detail oriented
- Experience building and maintaining relationships, with a focus on driving engagement
- Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals
- Willingness to problem solve and work through any customer challenges
- Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action
- Comfort in a startup environment – we move quickly and wear many hats in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel (post pandemic) to client launch onsites as needed
- Previous work in health and wellbeing space is a plus
- Project Management Certification a plus, not a requirement
