Instructional Design Intern 

The Minitab Sales Operations & Enablement team is focused on enhancing the value of its tech stack tools, Partner-facing tools, and Global Learning & Development efforts across Global Field Operations. A key part of this strategy is to add high impact offerings to the existing suite of tools and resources. 

The Instructional Design Intern will work alongside the Sales Enablement and Channel teams to drive success in the Minitab Partner Portal, Partner Lessonly, and other miscellaneous learning and development opportunities across the Global Field Operations organization.  

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Enhance user interface and content related to our LMS to improve user experience and lesson impact 
• Enhance and maintain aesthetic and structure of our Content Management System to improve user experience and the tool’s impact 
• Partner with our Channel Sales team to improve Global Partners’ experience with the Minitab Partner Portal 
• Apply best practice adult learning techniques to create high impact learning. 
• Maintain project documentation and course folders. 

• Contribute to ad hoc operations and emblement-related requests 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

• Ability to speak, read and write the English language.  
• Excellent oral communications skills. 

• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. 
• Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure. 
• Ability to meet deadlines. 
• Project management, organization, and time management skills. 
• Excellent technical writing skills. 

• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) 
• Ability to create, develop, manipulate, and share learning content using Adobe InDesign a plus. 
• Knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System is preferred. 
• Commitment to support and apply Minitab’s Vision Statement.
