Interior Designer
TLDR
Contribute to multi-disciplinary design teams by planning and designing commercial interior spaces, utilizing advanced software for 3D modeling and presentations.
- Planning and design of interior spaces from conceptual design to construction administration for commercial facilities including developing construction documents
- Designing & documenting floor plans, ceiling plans, pattern plans, elevations & room finishes
- Researching product & finish selections
- Reviewing building & life safety codes
- Conferring with design team on FFE
- Coordinating with MEP team; performing 3D modelling using Revit, Rhino, AutoCad, & SketchUp
- Preparing renderings & presentations using Photoshop, Enscape, InDesign & Illustrator
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related field
- Must have 2 years’ experience in the following areas:
- Planning and design of interior spaces from conceptual design to construction administration for commercial facilities including developing construction documents
- Designing & documenting floor plans, ceiling plans, pattern plans, elevations & room finishes
- Researching product & finish selections
- Reviewing building & life safety codes
- Conferring with design team on FFE
- Coordinating with MEP team; performing 3D modelling using Revit, Rhino, AutoCad, & SketchUp
- Preparing renderings & presentations using Photoshop, Enscape, InDesign & Illustrator
