Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

About the Team

Our Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering teams champion Crunchyroll’s goal of delivering high-quality video and rich content to our users on multiple platforms. In addition to devising testing strategies and evaluating feature quality, our quality engineers take part in feature planning and design reviews, to contribute their ideas and to ensure testability.

About You:

Are you a highly motivated dynamic person willing to work in the Tech field at the international level? We are currently looking for QE Interns! The interns will be forming part of the Quality Assurance team, being fully immersed in our daily work.

Qualifications:

Being an undergraduate student or with a Bachelor Degree recently obtained is desirable
You posses SQL knowledge
You possess sound practical knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming.
High motivation to learn continuously
You are persuasive through technical understanding and very good communication skills.
You are quality-conscious and a proactive team player.
Work experience in programming or testing is welcomed
English proficiency is required.
Possibility of working 5 hours/day

A day in the life of our QE Interns:

Design test scenarios and test cases
Creating and investigating bugs and reporting on test progress
Develop and maintain test cases (in proprietary test framework written in Kotlin)
Analyzing and report test results
Coordinate with product management and software and support engineers to deliver stable enterprise software products.
Analyzing data for deficiencies
Practical experience with writing SQL queries for data test cases
Collaborating with Development and Quality Engineers to achieve team goals and make improvements for the future
Presenting your work to the team and management, demonstrating your contribution to the success of the team

What you will learn:

Testing processes, methods, techniques and approaches
Approaches for ETL data testing
Data anomaly identification approaches
Identify, design, and develop automation solutions to improve team efficiency and test coverage
Write flexible code using data providers, loggers, assertions;
Code collaboration with code reviews;
Test Automation Framework best practices
Continuous Integration best practices;
Work in an agile team, including sprint planning, daily standups and user story estimation
