Internship / Praktikum Data Engineering (m/f) in Berlin, Germany

We are going to solve this once and for all for business owners across the world by getting them the working capital they need and deserve. Our technology is a world-first, focusing on making fully automated working capital decisions for customers that can’t be served anywhere else.
Our founding team consists of Sebastian Diemer, who previously founded and sold a similar company named “Kreditech” for more than 250m€, and Kenan Deniz, who also has a proven track record within several fintech and data science companies (including datapine, rocket internet, kreditech).
Our highly motivated staff consists of serial technology entrepreneurs and is backed by world class investors (point 9, DN, redalpine,..). So far we’ve raised 20m€ in venture capital, have a team of over 50+ highly skilled people and are growing 30% on millions of euros loaned to small business owners in Poland and Germany.
What to expect from the job:
- Work in close cooperation with the Data Science team
- Help build up our awesome company and develop your skills in a very rewarding and promoting environment
- You will help us to identify and extract features for our risk models. You will contribute to Finiata’s risk engine and will get a unique insight into how AI is used in the industry.
Your Skills:
- You are studying a subject related to business or a quantitative subject
- Fluent written and spoken Polish
- You have basic experience with SQL and ideally Python.
- You are a fast learner, work well under tight deadlines and fast pace work environment
- You are naturally keen on providing a good service to every kind of stakeholder
- You have strong sales, organization and communication skills and a healthy sense of humor
- You are ready to go an extra mile (or two, if needed)
