Job Summary

The Fleet IT Analyst delivers technical services and IT project execution, working cross-functionally across the Royal Caribbean Group. The position supports ship, island and shore IT teams and contributes to the continuity of 24/7 fleet operations.

Job Description

We are looking for an IT Fleet Analyst, the position supports ship, island and shore IT teams and contributes to the continuity of 24/7 fleet operations. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You'll Do

  • Supports IT initiatives by assisting with system deployments, upgrades, configuration, and functional testing

  • Monitors data transmission flows, system health, and network connectivity to ensure stable technology operations across multiple global environments

  • Analyzes recurring issues and operational data to identify trends, improve service reliability, and champions continuous improvement efforts

  • Assists with incident response and resolution by coordinating communication between shipboard and shoreside IT teams. Operates as a bridge between engineering/IT groups and operational teams

  • Develops and maintains documentation for technical processes, troubleshooting procedures, configurations, and fleetwide IT standards. Assists with training and guidance

  • Collaborates regularly with shipboard IT teams and shoreside groups to coordinate service management activities aligned with ITIL practices, including change, incident, problem, and service management processes

  • Option for occasional travel assignments to shipyards, dry docks, and in service ships for project deployments or technical service engagements

  • Position will work daily with shipboard IT managers and onboard teams, communicating with peers and other internal team managers or directors for the purposes of escalations and updates

  • Some engagement with external vendors may be necessary

What You'll Need
Required:

  • Prior work experience in a professional environment is helpful

  • Work is primarily performed in a professional, air conditioned office environment, seated at a desk and using a computer for extended periods

  • Duties are carried out in office utilizing phone, email, and collaborative communication tools to support shipboard and destination IT operations across multiple time zones

  • The position requires the ability to manage tasks in a fast paced, service oriented environment, with periodic demands related to 24/7 operational on-site support, including some weekends

  • When traveling, work conditions may vary depending on shipyard schedules, onboard operational needs, and project timelines

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
