IT Help Desk Associate - Warsaw, PL

The CIC Help Desk team provides support for CIC sites by providing client support for IT services and training local staff. We are looking for an early-career Help Desk Associate to provide face-to-face service as well as remote support. Communication skills over phone, video chat, and email are important. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
As part of the Core Infrastructure Team (CIT), you will work alongside our Senior IT Specialist to support our European and Asian offices. You will become the first point of contact to our staff and clients resolving their day-to-day tech issues.
Potential responsibilities will include:
• Provide 1st line support for the CIC staff: troubleshoot Mac & Windows computers, take care of the staff onboarding and offboarding (hardware deployment, accounts creation, license assignments etc.).
• Troubleshoot basic problems with IP networks, WiFi, WAN, LAN, video surveillance and access control systems (training will be provided) and escalate non-routine issues to the next level of support.
• Follow processes that allow the identification of problems early. Suggest improvements to those processes.
• Respond to support tickets, phone calls and in-person requests.
• Train staff on CIC security policies as well as on the use of hardware and software.
ABOUT YOU
You are an IT enthusiast with already some experience in a similar role. You enjoy helping others and solving problems. You work best in a fast-paced, international start-up environment. You like dealing with new technical issues and you treat your job as an ongoing adventure.

YOU HAVE
• At least 2 years of experience in IT
• Solid knowledge of computer operations.
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, networks, and computer operations (IP Networks, Firewalls, WiFi/WAN/LAN, Access Control).
• Solid experience with both PC and Mac computers.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English (at least B2) and Polish (at least C1) communication skills - you will be a part of an international team, but also work onsite with our Polish clients.

• Starting compensation is between 6.000 - 8.000 zł gross, depending on the level of experience. Don’t hesitate to apply if your experience exceeds our expectations - we’re open to negotiations with more senior specialists.
