IT Infrastructure Manager

The Role

For Zenjob’s next growth phase, we are now looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager to lead our IT Infrastructure initiatives while coordinating with other engineering and security teams  to ensure that we meet our business goals. You will also be responsible for leading and mentor our team of 3 IT engineers and coordinating with external IT service providers.

Zenjob is a Berlin-based jobs marketplace with a goal to empower the workforce of tomorrow with innovative technology. We envision a world in which everyone has full control over their working life. We already enable part-time jobbers to decide when, where, and how to work with just a few clicks. Our service is available in over 30 cities in Germany and with our recent launch in the Netherlands and an upcoming launch in the UK, we want to gradually open up new international markets. Our growth financing round of $50 million (€45 million) from February 2022 will enable us to achieve that. We are using the funds  to accelerate our expansion in Europe, scale our platform, and add new data-based automation features for our rapidly growing customer base.

What you'll do

• You will be responsible for the management of the IT infrastructure and coordination of our IT needs with other departments.
• You will be responsible for leading our expanding IT team.
• You’ll manage activities and timelines as well as roadmaps aligned with objectives set and budgets agreed.
• You’ll work with the security and engineering teams on topics such as: Policy management, Spam protection, SAAS Security and Security Awareness training.
• You’ll collaborate with the security team and support our medium and long term compliance initiatives. 
• You’ll keep an oversight of our IT budgets and come up with initiatives for short, medium and long term improvements.
• You and your team will design, implement and monitor processes for the on and offboarding of employees.

What You’ll Bring

• Support a collaborative, performance-driven culture that builds bridges with other functional groups across the business and maintains positive working relationships.
• You have several years of professional and management experience in the IT sector.
• You’ll have great project management skills, while working with several stakeholders.
• Ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ideally, you are familiar with Google Apps for Business, Microsoft Intune, Azure AD and Apple MDM and also have experience with the administration of services such as Okta, Salesforce and 1Password.
• Ideally you’ll have experience managing and growing other IT professionals.
