IT Specialist (Remote)

Coforma is looking for a full-time IT Specialist to join our growing, remote team. As Coforma grows, so do our technology needs. We use a variety of mostly SaaS applications and platforms that require focused, knowledgeable administration. At the same time, we’re always improving and evolving. With that in mind, you’ll be responsible for supporting our existing infrastructure while finding new ways to enhance our capabilities.

As an IT Specialist, you will report to the Director of IT. In this role, you’ll leverage technical expertise to build and guide our developing infrastructure, as well as lend hands-on technical support to colleagues across the US and Canada.

This role will be expected to support our DC office, in person, approximately once a week.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, the final candidate will be required to undergo a background check. Additionally, this role may be subject to a US federal clearance at a later date.

$82-102K Base Salary + Benefits + Growth Potential

What You’ll Do

  • Manage SaaS tools for all Coforma employees by providing support via IT support tickets
  • Work closely with Director of IT in launching new infrastructure as we continue to grow
  • You will work with our DC-based Executive Office Administrator to remotely manage our inventory, network, and conference room equipment
  • You’ll make a big impact by helping bring large-scale projects to the finish line

What You've Done

  • 2+ years experience working with and providing support to remote teams
  • 2+ years experience with Mac MDM solutions setting up blueprints and security protocols
  • 2+ years experience supporting IT needs in a SaaS-first environment

What You Know

  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Apple-based systems—we are currently a 100% Mac shop
  • Mac MDM experience with Mosyle, Kandji, or similar
  • Asset management experience
  • Extensive experience with Google Workspace Enterprise: user management; groups management; security controls; Gmail, Calendar, and Drive management; DLP; and GAM
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems such as Jira Service Desk or equivalent 
  • Experience managing several SaaS products, including Slack, Zoom, Adobe Cloud, and Monday.com 
  • A strong customer focus on fixing the issue and fixing it correctly the first time

Other

  • Internet — will prioritize and maintain access to strong, reliable internet for the remote nature of our work (except when on vacation/holiday)
  • Security — will keep the highest security practices to ensure privacy and security of Coforma and client information given the nature of our work (even when on vacation)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
  • Due to the sensitive nature of this role, the final candidate will be required to undergo a background check. Additionally, this role may be subject to a US federal clearance at a later date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior professional services, government, or federal consulting experience
  • Working knowledge of SSO, IdP, SAML, and SCIM
  • Experience with NIST, FISMA, CIS, or other government security compliance protocols
  • The ideal applicant will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, flexible, innovative, and attentive to detail
  • Though remote, preference will be give to candidates within driving distance of Washington, DC

The annual salary range for this position is $82,000 – $102,000.

We participate in E-Verify. Upon hire, we will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.

This role is required to work from the East Coast of the contiguous United States. Though remote, preference will be give to candidates within driving distance of Washington, DC.
