Junior Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description

The Analytics & BI team’s mandate is to steer the HelloFresh Group  ANZ business through data. The team provides insights-driven analytics and BI solutions  in order to drive decision-making, maximize value creation, and grow the business for the long-term. 

Reporting into the Analytics & BI Manager, the Junior BI Analyst will work alongside a team of BI Analysts to provide regular and actionable insights on performance. An ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoys diving deep into data to identify trends and takeaways. In addition to this, the candidate will champion and role model HelloFresh’s DNA.

You will…

• Be confident in querying databases to conduct deep dives to identify patterns, correlations, and insights in order to continuously understand and improve our business.
• Build BI dashboards to enable continuous tracking of performance against planned initiatives and business targets.
• Communicate key insights and findings effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences in order to drive business change.
• Apply a data-driven, analytical, and logical approach to all business problems.
• Proactively identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and data requests.
• Be proficient at documenting products (dashboards, reports, data assets) to enable better understanding across the business.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders in Australia and New Zealand across all functions (Product, Marketing, Operations) and internationally.

You have…

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics etc)
• Intermediate SQL skills (required) and intermediate Python skills (strongly preferred)
• Intermediate proficiency in Tableau or similar analytics platform (strongly preferred)
• Intermediate level of Excel/Google Sheets (required)

• Data-driven, solid analytical and quantitative thinking with a logical approach
• Inherent drive to understand trends in data 
• Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and translate these into BI products

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia.
