(Junior) Global Mobility Manager (m/f/x)

The role

The HelloFresh PeopleOperations Team is now looking for a (Junior) Global Mobility Manager (m / f / d) who will use their expert knowledge to help think and develop the topic of international mobility within a young, rapidly expanding company, and consider this as a strategically important topic within the People Team. As a successful applicant, you will also always have an open ear for the questions of our New Joiners and employees, manage to organize and structure your tasks independently, and support internal team projects.

What you'll do

In this role you’ll be based in our Berlin office helping a growing and globe-trotting team arrange, manage and coordinate all aspects of global mobility and business travel for our employees. It is your main goal to help a growing and globe-trotting team to arrange, manage and coordinate all aspects of global mobility and business travel for our employees. Therefore you will:  

  • Take over administrative relocation and international assignment tasks:
    • Plan and coordinate the transfer of New Joiners to the German HelloFresh entity.
    • Be the Point of Contact for all New Joiners relocating to Berlin and for those  hired remotely, as well as for our internal stakeholders (HelloFresh managers, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding team) and our external Relocation Agency.
    • Work together with our external Relocation Agency to ensure New Joiners start on time.
    • Overlook costs and approve invoices.
    • Coordinate, update and evaluate visa status. 
    • Ensure data correctness by updating our internal database constantly.
  • Support setting up New Joiners in their home countries (remotely), and be the Point of Contact for our external EORs (Employee-Of-Record) companies.
  • Add value to global relocation and assignment projects.
  • Continuously improve and simplify our processes.
  • Support in creating internal manuals, guidelines and policies.
  • Support in educating managers on new processes as we keep growing as a company.
  • Write Qualification Descriptions for the visa process.
  • Prepare and deliver reports about travel to help the business keep costs down.
  • Support in booking employee travel for specific employees, including groups.

What you’ll bring

To help you manage your tasks successfully it would be advantageous to bring: 

  • Previous experience (at least 1 year) in a similar role, particularly a customer-facing role 
  • Experience with relocation processes
  • Professional proficiency in English and German (both written and spoken) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, tourism, hospitality), or equivalent experience
  • Being natural “people person” with great communication and interpersonal skills as well as a self-starter with a can-do attitude, and confident working with stakeholders on all levels
  • The ability to feel at home in a fast-paced and demanding startup environment, that develops quickly every day
  • Feeling comfortable in taking on ownership and act autonomously, but work effectively with the entire People and Finance team leveraging your collaborative strengths
  • Be an expert communicator with high emotional intelligence
  • Come with strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver hands-on and pragmatic solutions in a constantly changing environment
  • Strong organizational skills, be able to handle multiple tasks and projects at once
  • IT savvy, professional skills with the entire Microsoft Office Suite
