Junior Innovation Consultant

We don’t believe in forcing someone into a specific job function. Your role will be shaped based on your own interest and experience, as well as those of your team members; and even more importantly, everyone's role is expected to evolve continuously.

Consider this as a starting point for the role of a Junior Innovation Consultant at Board of Innovation.

• You will immediately be involved in client-facing projects , learning by doing-on-the-job.
• Together with our senior consultants, you co-design and co-facilitate workshops with corporate innovation teams in their quest for new business opportunities or their transformation to a more customer-centric culture.
• You support the corporate project teams in creating relevant experiments in order to achieve market validation .
• You support in designing user research and contribute actively in ideation brainstorms and validation projects.
• Your passion for innovation is demonstrated by a relentless learning about innovation models and techniques, and creating relevant innovation playbooks and cases.
• You travel with international teams across the globe and enjoy the variety to work at different levels within an enterprise.

Requirements

• You have an academic background in Economics / Management / Business/ Product or Service Design/ Innovation/ Engineering/ ...
• You are passionate about innovation and want to gain more experience in this domain
• You are a creative and analytical thinker
• You demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial attitude and business mindset (eg side projects, start ups, …)
• You know basics of Lean Start up, Design Thinking , …
• You are a fast and committed learner
• You can work on different projects simultaneously and flexible to jump from one case to another
• You are a future-thinker and easily generate new ideas
• You have what it takes to thrive in our team: an open mindset, a team spirit, and a ‘raise the bar’ mentality
• You have a convincing communication style, being able to formulate your own opinion, backed up with arguments and confidence
• You are fluent in English, other languages are an asset
