THE POSITION

Miniclip is looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to hire in our London(UK) Office. This is a full-time position, please apply only if you have the right to work in the UK.
 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This is an exciting role working with a leading digital games and entertainment company. You will be part of the IT team in a standalone role within the UK office, with support from the wider IT team based in Lisbon.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide helpdesk support to clients on-site, via telephone and remotely
• Implement new systems and upgrade existing systems
• Resolve IT system issues and problems
• Ability to read procedures and act on instruction
• Open tickets, review, and close within the Helpdesk System
• Install and maintain IT equipment
• Record accurately work performed 

The following skills and experience are essential for the role:

• Minimum of 12 months IT Support experience within an IT technical support or Helpdesk environment
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Mac OsX
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, security and networking
• Knowledge of Office 2016, 365
• Remote desktop tools (Teamviewer)
• Experience with VoIP systems
• Knowledge of Service Desk Ticket Systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills face to face and over the telephone.
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate with customers who have little IT knowledge
• Team player
• Keen to learn and develop as an IT Professional
• Ability to manage your time across multiple tasks simultaneously
• High level of initiative and problem solving skills
• Ability to work without close supervision in accordance with company guidelines
• Demonstrate practical knowledge and problem-solving strategies
• Interest in technology: keeping abreast of new developments in software and hardware
• Excellent attention to detail
