Junior Risk Operations Specialist

As a Junior Risk Ops Specialist you’d be joining the team working behind the scenes to protect Melio from bad actors; managing the risks that might have adverse impacts on our product, financials and our ability to meet client needs.  This includes not only ‘classic fraud’, but also compliance and anti-money laundering initiatives. You’d also be evaluating the verticals we work with as well as product features to understand our unique profiles and exposures.  

How you’ll make an impact

• Handle daily risk and fraud analysis to support on-going business
• Perform hands-on risk investigations/analysis and provide insights to research and machine learning teams
• Willingness to support U.S time zones and workdays
  
  

What we would love to see

• IInterest in the Risk and Payments fields and a desire to learn and develop at a fast growing company
• Strong attention to details, sharpness and a team player mentality. 
• Strong communication skills, including English. 
• Experience with analysis/investigations to identify trends and patterns- advantage.
• Experience in working in shifts at fast-paced companies-  advantage.
