Requirements

What does a Junior Teacher Operations Manager do at Busuu?

You will focus on supporting the administrative and operational processes for Busuu and Verbling online teaching teams. You will help with processing applications and carrying out administrative tasks related to onboarding teachers. You will also help motivate and grow our teacher team by answering teacher questions, responding to the forum and motivating teachers asynchronously.

What we’re looking for in a Junior Teacher Operations Manager

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience teaching languages to adults in a business setting with blended or fully digital programs.
• Experience in an administrative role in an education or learning/development setting
• Strong command of English and speak a second language to at least a B2 level (German or French preferred)
• Strong email etiquette and confidence using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools
• You are a problem solver. You excel at simplifying and improving processes and projects.
• You are empathetic, patient and have strong people skills.
• You have strong communication skills: ability to be clear, diplomatic and concise.

Bonus Skills & Experience:

• Experience of training and developing language teachers
• Experience learning a language as an adult
• CELTA certificate or equivalent
