Laboratory Technician
TLDR
Hands-on electronics technician role focusing on measurement, testing, and repair using DMMs, oscilloscopes, VNAs, soldering PCB rework, and preparing technical summaries.
The candidate should possess the following requirements:
- AAS in either Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering Technology, or Computer Electronic Engineering Technology.
- Experience with Digital Multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes and Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs).
- Experience trouble shooting electronic assemblies.
- Experience of soldering components and rework of PCB components.
- Experience preparing technical summaries using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Physically, the candidate must be able to perform physical tasks associated with sample preparation, equipment repair, detailed visual inspection and standing/sitting for extended periods of time.
- The candidate must be able to lift 35 lbs.
