Lead Animator (3D)

Aristocrat is seeking a dedicated Lead Animator (3D) to join our dynamic and creative team! What You'll Do:-

• Spearhead the creation of innovative gaming animations throughout the entire production cycle.

• Ensure consistency and high-quality animation/build work across various project teams.

• Comprehend art briefs quickly and conceptualize creative animations/artwork.

• Serve as a seeding resource for a team handling creative animation tasks, contributing significantly to team growth and development.

• Responsively make changes as requested by remote direction, ensuring timely and accurate updates.

• Communicate complex art and animation-related issues succinctly and clearly to team members both locally and remotely.

• Contribute to all aspects of the creative production pipeline from concept through to post-production.

• Contribute significantly to offering consistent, exceptional digital artwork and animation for forward-thinking gaming products as instructed by the Chief Concept Creator & Art Director.

• Develop new art and animation products based on provided art briefs.

• Continuously seek opportunities for improvements in animation processes and products.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 6+ years of computer experience using related programs.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a commercial art/animation environment.

• Proven experience leading a team of artists and animators is highly advantageous.

• Formal qualification in Graphic Building or Animation.

• Expertise in key programs such as Photoshop, After Effects, and 2D Spine.

• Strong conceptual and traditional drawing abilities paired with a firm grasp of art and animation principles.

• Good character animation knowledge.

• Experience with memory and space optimization techniques.

• Working knowledge of timelines, animations, visual and audio effects, user interface, and dialog.
