As a Lead Product Designer you will be part of the multi-disciplinary team at Relevel. You will work closely with product managers and other stakeholders and apply the user-centered design process. You will be:

• Leading projects covering the complete product area, mostly independently.
• Working with high level product requirements and help scope them with the product partners
• You are exhaustive in addressing the complete holistic user experience, without requiring much guidance
• Designing output is very polished with great attention to detail, only requiring occasional feedback/guidance
• Upholding user-first design directions & decisions independently
• Elevating the overall design standards of the team and the company

What you'll do:

• Problem scoping: Collaborate on product ideas with product partners, and bring user-first critical thinking to assess their impact on user experience
• Holistic product design: Develop a complete understanding of a product area, the key user journeys within, and their relative frequency, importance and interconnectivity
• Independent design execution:Exhaustively explore design possibilities for a problem
• Rationally narrow down to a design recommendation with a strong focus on its short term & long term implications
• Deliver high quality visual design work and support production with engineering partners
• Guardianship: Contribute to improving our cross-functional collaboration to improve the quality of the final product
• Citizenship: Contribute to improving the tooling, productivity and efficiency of the design team

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in fast-paced creative environments.
• Experience of working with higher order product problems with a large scope
• Demonstration of strong user-first thinking
• Rigorous attention to detail and the drive to defend user-centric decisions
• Experience with shipping real products on web & mobile
• High-quality portfolio showcasing strong visual design and interface design skills
