How you’ll mak e an impact
As a Learning Designer, Digital, you will be part of a global team and design, develop and curate learning content for the Learning Experience (LX) team. This work is guided by the Xero strategic priorities and driven through the Organizational Development (OD) team as part of the People Experience (PX) team, as well as directly from the business. This work is predominantly focused on the development of Xero People Leaders and Teams.
What you’ll do
In this role you'll work closely with the Learning Business Partners who design, develop and deploy learning programmes and resources globally. Your role will be to drive the digital components of these learning projects. You will be responsible for…..
Discovery: Being the first point for any digital production requests for the team while scoping and prioritising digital learning requests.
Designing and developing: You will play a significant role in contributing to the design planning of digital learning projects, providing regular updates on the development of digital outputs, creating digital content alongside pre production scripts and production audio and film.
Delivery: Once designed and developed you will also be responsible for preparing digital learning for delivery through systems and platforms such as Litmos and our internal Xero Help Centre.
Maintenance: An important component of your role will also be to oversee the quality of digital outputs in line with global standards. You will do this by providing advisory on the best way to achieve desired digital outcomes within project constraints and by collaborating with the learning team to ensure productions meet Xero’s global quality, branding and style guidelines.
What You’ll Bring
You will have experience designing, developing and delivering digital learning programs in a similar corporate climate and a passion for providing #beautiful learning experiences in an innovative and continually changing environment. We are also looking for someone with:
- Experience in digital Instructional design process and methodologies within a complex corporate environment
- Knowledge of digital learning softwares and tools like Articulate 360, Vyond and Litmus experience is preferred but not essential
- The ability to build relationships and negotiate with various stakeholders across the globe
- Facilitation and Production Support experience desirable
- Hands on experience with agile processes and principles
- UX and web design skills a plus
- A passion for making a difference, an eagerness to problem solve and learn new things
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
