We offer insurance through our trusted carrier partners to provide coverage for your Toyota vehicle, home and other assets. Our mission is to improve the Toyota ownership experience by improving the insurance experience.

 

 What will you do:
 

  • Toyota Insurance is looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent to work in our Elgin Toyota dealership located in Chicago, Illinois. You will be responsible for prospecting new customers for home, auto, and other personal line products as well as meeting with referral contacts to generate new business in our illustrious dealership
  • As a Licensed Insurance Agent, you will serve our Point of Sales customers in the dealership.

 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • You'll assess client’s unique situations and recommend insurance plans that provide optimal protection.
  • You'll leverage our proven approach to ensure clients not only get the right coverage but also experience exceptional service throughout the process.
  • You'll actively connect with current and potential clients, fostering trust and loyalty through clear communication and follow-up.
  • You'll be an integral part of our dealership's full-service commitment, collaborating with colleagues to deliver a seamless experience for everyone.
  • You'll proactively seek out new opportunities through phone outreach, networking, and other lead generation strategies.

 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Requires a valid Illinois Property& Casualty insurance license.
  • Minimum of 4 years of insurance sales experience required.
  • High School Graduate. College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the company.

Compensation:

  • $55,000-$100,000+ on skills and sales experience (This role offers a base salary of $50,000 with an uncapped commission structure. Top performers have the potential to earn a total compensation package of $100,000 or more)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Onsite: 11:00 AM-8:00 PM, 1 weekend day off/month + alternating Sundays (subject to business needs).
