LMS Content Specialist
We are seeking a Learning Management System's (LMS) Content Specialist to assist the LMS Manager in all aspects of our Learning Management System including overseeing content design and developing technical courses and other customer education content. The LMS Content Specialist will develop and/or review content primarily for self-paced online learning. But will also assist with content development for instructor-led classroom training. This person will troubleshoot issues related to the LMS and with training & support personnel, and IT staff for resolutions. This position works closely with Subject Matter Experts, the training staff, and other departments.
What you'll do
- Assist in defining course objectives, scope, and sequence
- Load and test learning content to the Learning Management System
- Support and monitor course functionality.
- Resolve issues related to the Learning Management System courses that are reported by users
- Work cooperatively with others to achieve group goals and objectives
- Create, configure, test and troubleshoot self-paced online courses in the company's Learning Management System.
- Prepare customized and regular reports
- Validate report data and perform data analysis
What you bring
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Google Suite
- Ability to use and facilitate online communications including video conferencing, webinars, and other technology-based communication media
- Exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills required
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- 2+ years' experience administering/Creating Learning Management System Content
- Degree in learning and/or training principles or similar education or experience or equivalent work experience
- Strong Technical aptitude and computer skills
Nice to haves
- Experience in content creation tools such as Articulate 360 and Camtasia preferred, but not required
- Experience with Learning Management System Software such as Docebo preferred, but not required
