Manager, Launch Excellence Strategy (Remote)
The Manager, Launch Excellence Strategy manages key biopharmaceutical client product launches and works directly with cross-functional internal teams through all stages of product commercialization to help tackle highly complex business and market access challenges across a variety of therapeutic categories including rare disease, oncology, cell and gene therapy, and vaccines.
The Manager, Launch Excellence Strategy has extensive biopharmaceutical launch experience, go-to-market commercialization strategy, and/or management consulting expertise, that is supplemented with expert-level project management skills. Project management responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading the coordination and completion of multiple launch projects on time, and within pre-defined scope.
This position resides within Precision Value & Health’s (PVH) Commercial Launch Excellence Group, which combines best-in-class services across PVH’s commercialization teams through a proprietary multistakeholder approach to meet the launch needs of biopharmaceutical companies. The Launch Manager will work directly with PVH’s Head of Commercial Launch Excellence, and collaborate with colleagues from across PVH teams.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Support cross-functional commercialization teams across multiple disciplines, therapeutic areas, and customer types (e.g., payers, healthcare providers, specialty/retail pharmacy, patients, etc.)
- Drive the definition of project scope, deliverables and milestones for project implementation
- Monitor project scope and critical path, identify potential bottlenecks to make schedule adjustments
- Accountable for adequate project documentation and acknowledged by all relevant stakeholders
- Support project kickoffs and status meetings
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Regularly engage with senior business development leaders across Precision and clients
- Identify key insights, recommendations, opportunities, and threats to commercialization success
- Coordinate and drive critical monthly launch excellence meetings including determining audience and inviting attendees, agenda development, presentation, capturing meeting minutes, summarizing the takeaway of milestones and action items
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study, with 2-4 years’ experience in management consulting or MBA and equivalent experience
- Demonstrated commitment and passion for the healthcare and biopharmaceutical industry
- Keen interests in problem solving and translating commercialization opportunities and barriers to tactical execution success
- Ability to grasp and communicate strategic, clinical, and business implications of sometimes technically complex service offerings
- Proven working experience in project management and familiarity with a variety of the biopharmaceutical commercialization concepts, practices, and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Experience with SmartSheet or similar project management software
