Manager, Mondo E-commerce
The Mondo E-Commerce Manager will drive top and bottom line sales targets, overseeing and implementing initiatives targeted to increase engagement and conversions, both via mobile and browser, on all e-commerce platforms (including Amazon). The primary focus will be on mondoshop.com, which receives more than 16 million visitors a year.
This role will manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, a/b testing, and reporting, and act as the Editor In Chief of mondoshop.com with ultimate responsibility for the content and merchandising of the site. They will work with our creative team to decide what copy/photos/videos we use to market the 500+ different pop-cultured inspired products we launch every year, and how best to engage our customers for conversion rate optimization that leads to higher sales, AOVs, and LTVs.
They’ll employ their deep knowledge of SEO and obsession with website analytics to tackle our biggest web challenges, develop and implement an e-commerce strategy, improve website performance, run growth experiments to make data-driven decisions, and foster a culture of testing and measurement. They’ll constantly improve the Mondo digital experience, helping us share the products we love and make with a wider audience.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uphold standards of behavior as defined by the company Core Values and Code of Conduct
- Delight our visitors and drive revenue by ensuring the highest levels of engagement and conversion by creating a dynamic homepage, executing flash sales / limited edition product releases, and optimizing our main collection and product pages
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, strategists, writers, designers, Marketing and artists to promote Mondo and our products to our online visitors
- Own the creation and quality control of the website, ensuring that published content aligns to brand styles and standards
- Run experiments and A/B test website changes to continuously optimize and improve the site experience, dwell time, conversions, and sales
- Collaborate with the digital experience and graphic design teams to wireframe and layout new web pages to deliver an enhanced online experience
- Manage website SEO best practices - maintain clearly defined SEO processes and KPIs (traffic, time on page, carting, checkout completion, keyword optimization), identify/solve technical SEO issues rapidly (including crawlability, indexability, duplicate content, and broken links)
- Partner with internal teams to integrate across all of Mondo’s various systems (Shopify, Finale, Klaviyo, ShipStation, GL software, etc.)
- Collaborate with digital marketing team to optimize paid digital campaigns, including PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media
- Develop a content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing page development
- Collaborate with our development team on security and governance issues
- Analyze and report on website traffic, primary and user engagement metrics - identify opportunities for improvement and recommend/implement courses of action
- Create and implement a strategy for Amazon and third-party marketplace websites that stays true to our brand principles while generating sales and growing our audience
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or related field
- 5+ years of e-commerce experience, 3+ years of which were managing consumer-oriented web sites
- Strong knowledge of the principles of e-commerce and web site design, including current best practices and emerging approaches for using digital content to drive sales
- Strong collaborator with the ability to develop and implement ideas from across the organization
- A massive movie and pop culture fan; you’ll spend a lot of time thinking about pop-culture from a marketing perspective
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Analytics
- Incredibly organized, with great attention to detail; able to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously in a very fast-paced environment
- A quick, technically-minded learner with in-depth knowledge of HTML and content management systems; willingness to roll up sleeves to master the numerous tools and systems used across Mondo
- Previous experience with Shopify required
- Previous experience with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central strongly desired
- Previous experience in web sales copywriting is a plus
