Manager, Talent Acquisition for a 50+ employee (and growing) remote education non-profit providing professional learning to K-12 educators nationally

Compensation: Salary starts at $72,505 with comprehensive benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Manager, Talent Acquisition is the talent matchmaker who plans and implements an effective talent acquisition strategy to ensure that Teaching Lab finds, recruits, hires, and retains talented new team members to join our team and extend our mission to more teachers and learners and families and ensuring our school systems become truly equitable for the students and teachers we serve.

- Talent Acquisition Phone Line & Job Email Management
- Talent Acquisition Support for Projects
- Lever (ATS) Management
- Weekly Talent Acquisition Reporting

Teaching Lab team members at all levels of the organization will reflect the students we serve (>60% people of color)
80% of FTE and PTE hiring processes span 10 weeks or shorter from posting to offer
80% of hiring processes result in hiring managers reporting that they are satisfied or highly satisfied with “the overall hiring process” for FTEs and PTEs
80% of new FTE and PTE hires report that their “overall experience as an applicant” was good or excellent

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience planning, designing and managing a talent acquisition plan for a growing workforce
Experience with high volume recruiting
Experience generating a pipeline for professional positions
Experience as a Recruiter 
Knowledge of Federal and State Employment Laws that pertain to hiring practices
Experience managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
Skills (Competency Package) - Communication, Personable, Organization, Emotional Intelligence, Critical Thinking & Problem Solving, Relationship Building, Teamwork, Collaboration, Time Management, Adaptability, Growth Mindset, Technology Acumen, Data-Driven, and Outcomes Driven

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Talent Acquisition Certifications (e.g., SHRM’s Talent Acquisition credential, and/or HCI’s Strategic Talent Acquisition certification)
Internship Program Management experience
Experience in the education field
Remote work experience

WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work a flexible schedule to support operational needs
Ability to perform the essential project, duties and responsibilities with or without accommodation
