The Job
Medical and Scientific credibility is the foundation. It’s the core of who and what Flo is.
As a group, these teams engage thought leaders and KOLs (100+ and counting!), establish research partnerships (Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, and others), help Developers design our intuitive AI tools, check our Medical Accuracy, and drive medical credibility across the whole platform.
As a leading company in the Health Tech space, Flo is expanding its AI related activities. To help, we’re looking for an enthusiastic medical doctor who has experience within Health Tech, especially in clinical safety and the implementation of AI.
This person will be joining an experienced and highly driven team of four doctors, working across a broad range of tech stakeholders, particularly Product Managers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Marketing Managers.
Whilst the role has a firm leaning towards the AI initiatives of the company, the team’s responsibilities are varied, extending to chatbots, symptom checkers and wearables, as well as other initiatives. The successful candidate would therefore need to have a strong commercial mindset and be capable of adapting to a variety of projects.
Your Experience
Must have:
- Medical degree
- Clinical experience - at least 5 years
- Deep understanding of general medicine, anatomy, and physiology of the female reproductive system
- Former experience in working for a Health tech company
- Former experience in the product development process for consumer apps
- Experience in clinical safety in Health Tech
- Advanced English (C2 - written and spoken)
Nice to have:
- Specialist in OB-GYN
- Previous experience working with AI
- Former experience in analytics, or coding
- Experience inputting to a marketing department of a for-profit business in the Health sector
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Product team, Data Scientists, Content Managers and Analysts to develop AI-based features, including chatbots and predictive tools
- Working closely with other members of the medical team to support decisions which require clinical expertise
- Working closely with members of Flo’s Expert Board to ensure Flo’s features remain at or above the high standards of medical safety and accuracy set across the company
- Ensuring the overall medical accuracy, safety and compliance of Flo’s mobile application
You'll be targeted to:
- Work together with the product team to bring medical research on topics and new ideas, in order to help produce medically accurate and appealing user-facing features
- Be responsible for auditing the medical accuracy of the product and working on ideas to help maintain and improve high standards
- Steward clinical safety by conducting risk assessments, as well as investigating and solving safety incidents
Salary Range:
Lithuania - Starting from €4166 gross per month.
UK - Starting from £70,000 per year.
Ranges may vary depending on your skills, competencies and experience.
