Membership Representative

Global Nielsen Media fuels the media industry with unbiased, reliable data about what people watch and listen to. At the core of our data is our Field & Call Center associates, who connect and build personal relationships with consumers to collect data on TV, Radio, and Digital Device consumption.

The purpose of the Membership Representative position is to make personal visits to potential Nielsen families in person and without an appointment.  
To inform the families about their selection, importance of their participation and the impact in their community. 
To educate and inform the family about our company and the exciting opportunity with Nielsen Media Research, the leader in the Television Ratings Industry. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain minimal required basic rate     
  • Maintain minimal required weekly net signs
  • Resolve assigned specs in a timely manner. 
  • Accurate completion of paperwork for demo collection.
  • Attend all installs per policy.
  • Responsible for all company assigned assets.

REQUIREMENTS

  •  Verbal and written communication skills.       
  • Planning and organizing and attention to detail.        
  • Bilingual skills English and Spanish required.      
  • Self motivated with the ability to meet tough deadlines.        
  • Demonstrated success in outside sales.
  • Influencing or persuasion experience.    
  • MS Windows experience.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Information gathering and information monitoring.          
  • Customer service orientation.       
  • College degree of equivalent experience.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Able to read and interpret directions, descriptions and sketch maps. 
  • Clean Drivers License  Record.
