How we work

We operate a global team, and are a remote-friendly/hybrid company. Some of our team work from our London HQ, some from their homes, and others in hubs (predominantly) within the US and Europe. We are building out our Product & Engineering hub in Wrocław. Being in, or close to Wrocław is preferable, but with the flexible and diverse team, we are open to candidates all across Poland.

Product Engineering Team

Our highly collaborative Product Engineering team is building the products and experiences our customers use everyday. You will have direct input to the product development process, working alongside our Product Managers and CTO in shaping and building new features for our products.

We are creating highly compelling and interactive user experiences on the Salesforce platform by combining React with Salesforce technology, such as Lightning Web Components.

The teams work in 4 week cycles, delivering new feature releases to customers, approximately once per quarter.

The Product

Precursive is a SaaS product that provides a solution for other B2B Software and Professional Services companies to manage projects and measure the capacity and utilization of their projects teams.

The current project involves integrating two solutions (Precursive OBX and Precursive PSX) and creating a single experience for customers.

Precursive Plan is part of Precursive PSX. Precursive Plan shows people in the team and their capacity based on the projects they are assigned to.

Requirements

About The Job

We are on the search for a new Front-end Developer to join our growing Engineering team! In this role, you will work across multiple products and frameworks (React, Vue, and LWC). Whilst we do not require you to have commercial experience across all of these frameworks, you must have deep fundamental knowledge of front-end technology.

Our products are all built on the Salesforce platform - so awareness and experience of working with Salesforce technology (Salesforce Platform, Lightning Web Components etc.) is beneficial but not required.

What we’re looking for

Required

• 2+ years of experience developing JavaScript/Typescript heavy apps (Typescript, React, HTML5, and CSS3) is essential
• The interest and ability to learn new code libraries and techniques to keep pushing our customer experience capabilities
• Clear understanding of web security principles
• Excellent written and spoken english

Preferred / Nice to have:

Our products are all built on the Salesforce platform. This means an awareness and experience of working with Salesforce technology (Salesforce Platform, Lightning Web Components etc.) is beneficial but not required so long as you have the desire to learn.

• Experience with some type of State Management in React (Redux, Mobx, React-Query etc)
• Experience with unit testing (React Testing Library)
• Experience with Jira, Git
• Experience with css-in-js-like styled-components
• Experience with Flexbox and CSS-Grid
• Experience designing interfaces from scratch or from mockups, and have a good understanding of UX patterns

What happens next?

Each stage will be hosted virtually, and will look something like the below. We may adjust the stages, as needed, during the process, but will always give due notice to candidates.

• First Stage (15mins): Quick initial video chat with the hiring team to answer questions about the role, Precursive, and how we work. We also use this as an opportunity to learn more about your background and experience.
• Second Stage (60- 80 mins): Technical interview. This is also a good opportunity to ask more questions about the role and opportunities in Precursive. This will include ~ 20 minutes of live coding exercise(s).
• Third Stage (20-30mins): Meet the direct team (virtually), opportunity to meet the wider team, and another opportunity to ask questions about life at Precursive.
