Role and Responsibilities

What does it take to keep military operations moving seamlessly across multiple functions?

As the Military Operations Manager, you will oversee and contribute to Customer Service, Coordination, Accounting, Traffic Operations, and Agent Relations. You will serve as a central leader responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, financial accuracy, and strong partner relationships.

This role requires balancing strategic oversight with hands-on operational involvement. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, military customers, transportation partners, and agents to ensure services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily operations across multiple functional departments.
  • Monitoring service quality, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting accounting activities including billing accuracy, revenue tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Managing relationships with military customers, transportation partners, and agents.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and operational outcomes.
  • Coaching team members and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Tracking operational metrics and reporting performance to senior leadership.

Who You Are

Are you a leader who can bring together people, processes, and priorities to achieve exceptional operational results?

You possess a combination of operational leadership experience, customer-focused problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of logistics and transportation environments.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, military operations, relocation services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple functional teams and competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of customer service operations, transportation coordination, and financial accountability.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, reporting tools, and operational management systems.

Preferred qualifications include military transportation experience, government contracting exposure, household goods moving industry knowledge, and experience managing remote teams.
