Music Growth Manager
TLDR
Drive end-to-end growth initiatives across Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, and TikTok, coordinating internal and external partners to prioritize tracks.
Identify and prioritize tracks with growth potential based on a strong understanding of music trends, genres, and platform dynamics.
Own and manage the pipeline of growth opportunities, including inbox management, task tracking, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Lead the execution of growth strategies by aligning internal teams (e.g., platform, marketing) and external partners.
Build and maintain structured processes to ensure efficient execution and scalability of growth initiatives.
Monitor performance, track key metrics, and iterate on strategies based on results and insights.
Collaborate closely with creative and artist teams, balancing analytical thinking with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Music & cultural awareness: Understanding of genres, sub-genres, and evolving trends to inform decision-making and prioritization.
Process & organization: Ability to manage pipelines, prioritize tasks, and maintain structure across multiple concurrent workflows.
Commercial mindset: Comfortable navigating partnerships, supporting deal discussions, and identifying opportunities to maximize track performance.
Communication & collaboration: Strong written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with creative and cross-functional teams.
1+ year of experience in a project management, operations, marketing, or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflows simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and detail.
Demonstrated ability to work in a scrappy, fast-moving startup environment with a high level of ownership.
Interest in or knowledge of digital music platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, and Apple Music.
Ability to analyze data, track performance, and derive actionable insights.
Experience with pipeline management, stakeholder coordination, or cross-functional project execution is highly preferred.
Familiarity with coding, automation, or AI tools (e.g., Claude) is a plus.
Experience in music, content, or audience growth is a plus.
