Network Engineer
TLDR
Hands-on network engineering role shaping global infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across regions in a technology-driven environment.
- Support the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of local and wide area network infrastructure across global locations
- Implement and uphold network standards, policies, and operational best practices to ensure reliability and consistency
- Provide advanced Tier 3 troubleshooting and escalation support for complex networking issues
- Monitor network performance and identify opportunities to improve scalability, security, and operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, configurations, and architecture records
- Collaborate with global infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to support network-related initiatives and projects
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident response and problem resolution efforts
- Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to network architecture and operations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with at least 6 years in network engineering or infrastructure support
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Expertise in routing technologies and protocols including BGP, OSPF, and VRF
- Experience with VPN technologies such as IPSec, GRE, DMVPN, and DTLS
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking solutions, including Catalyst and Nexus switches, IOS and IOS-XE routers, and wireless infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of firewall technologies including ASA, Palo Alto, and cloud security platforms
- Experience with authentication and access control technologies such as ISE, TACACS, RADIUS, and 802.1X
- Ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise network environments and drive issue resolution independently
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies, wireless networking platforms, load balancing solutions, DNS, scripting, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, or Linux systems is considered an asset
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including international travel when required
