Nonprofit Relations Director at Revolutionary Startup Social Enterprise

We’ve bootstrapped our development so far, and we’re at a critical point where we want to add a new Nonprofit Relations Director. This position will begin as part-time, but you should expect your role to grow as iFLIP4 grows!

Your job will be to empower nonprofits to connect in a convincing, concise way with the millennial generation that charities struggle mightily to reach. As the face of iFLIP4 to the philanthropic community, you will be in charge of growing and managing our network of nonprofits so that more of them can reap the benefits of iFLIP4!

We don’t want someone who will say yes and implement every little thing we ask for. What we want is a partner. Someone to bounce ideas off of, someone with a vision for the future of our company, and someone who has the desire and drive to make it a reality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Expand iFLIP4’s network of nonprofits to include more world-changing charities

2. Plan innovative nonprofit features for online and offline events, partnering with the iFLIP4 Ambassador Network and heavily utilizing social media

3. Communicate regularly with nonprofit representatives to ensure that charities are profiled properly

4. Work creatively with other members of iFLIP4 to create nonprofit content, fundraising campaigns, infographics, and more.

5. Vet nonprofits who apply to join iFLIP4

6. Create and maintain nonprofit profiles

7. Inspire a generation to care about a cause!

1. Experience working with nonprofits and overall knowledge of the nonprofit industry. Personal contacts at nonprofits are a plus.

2. Strong written and verbal communication skills

3. Experience leading and managing a team of volunteers

4. You are a dedicated, honest, and reliable teammate who wants to go above and beyond what’s asked

5. Excited to work at a startup social enterprise that truly intends to change the world!

This position will begin as part-time, at about 15 hours/week, but responsibilities will expand as iFLIP4 grows. A small stipend comes with this role.  We are located in East Hanover, NJ, and telecommuting is fine with us.
