Operations Analyst II, Centralised Operations

TLDR

Support timely, controlled cash payments across multiple funds within Fund Accounting, ensuring deadlines, KPI reporting, and strong banking partnerships.

Position Description:

The Operations Analyst II is a position within the Fund Accounting department that will assist with the accurate completion of all cash payments within the Fund Accounting department. Reporting into the Supervisor of the Payments team, the Operations Analyst II will be responsible for the preparation and input of payments across multiple teams and clients ensuring cash payment deadlines are met while following strict procedures and controls.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare and / or input cash payments from Funds administered by the Fund accounting department.

  • Ensure cash processing procedures and controls are followed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Become an expert user on the various banking platforms used by clients.

  • Confirm validity of payments and resolving post payment queries. 

  • Work closely with Fund Accounting teams and assist in maintaining the Payments log.

  • Establish close relationship with banking providers.

  • Provide status reporting and payment confirmations to Fund Accounting teams. 

  • Prepare monthly statistics and KPI reporting

  • Enforce adherence to service standards and specified deadlines.

  • Maintain a good working relationship with the Fund Accounting teams as well as with internal relationship managers and other business units within SEI.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of team procedures.

  • Assist in projects / initiatives to enhance the payment process.  

  • Carry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement to ensure Health, Safety and Well-being to yourself and others.  

What you will bring to the table:

  • Third level qualification in Finance or Business.

  • Must be numerate, diligent, thorough and with a keen attention to detail.

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in fund operations or fund administration industry
