About the role:
The Operations Manager will report to the Group COO and be responsible for all operational aspects of the UK business to improve operational processes and achieve operational self-sufficiency in line with FCA requirements.
You will have a broad remit covering internal operations & performance KPI’s management, business continuity planning, outsourcing management, customer service, incident management among others.
You will help adapt and oversee operational systems, processes, and people necessary to underpin the UK business and deliver to the forecast revenue, expense budgets and timing. You will have a hands-on attitude as much as an operational strategy acumen, and ultimately innovate to make the company more efficient, resilient, and cost effective.
Requirements
- Experienced in running FCA regulated financial operations or strong management background.
- Understanding of payments acquiring and issuing.
- From a technology / Fintech background.
- Experienced in analysing operational demand, supply, risks and innovation opportunities.
- Have a strong track record in building and managing supplier partnerships.
- Able to manage multiple stakeholder needs and operational strategy.
- Experience of working with international clients/investors.
- Ability to work on high-exposure initiatives, to tight deadlines, and with a focus on accuracy.
- Flexibility, resilience and ability to pivot.
- Oversee the framework for all outsourcing arrangements.
- Ensures that all necessary controls to mitigate outsourcing risks are in place and in full compliance with the relevant FCA regulatory requirements
