Orthodontic Assistant

Brown Family Orthodontics is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused part time orthodontic assistant to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is energetic, personable, and passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences.
Position Details:
- Part-Time: 24-32 hours per week
- Travel required: Position rotates between 4 office locations (Mandeville, Metairie, Marrero, and Chalmette)
- Must have reliable transportation and flexibility with travel
Responsibilities:
- Assist orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures
- Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments
- Take orthodontic records, digital scans, and x-rays as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Ensure a positive and welcoming patient experience
- Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
- X-ray certification preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
