Overseer Miner

This role is responsible for direct development, stopping, shaft sinking and general mining operations.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Daily marking, drilling, charging, and blasting of decline faces and boards.
• Evaluating daily operations to ensure Safety, Health, and Environmental performance.
• Optimizing production through the utilization of resources, motivation, and development of personnel.
• Daily monitoring and reporting of underground operations including safety of personnel and equipment.

• NEC Certificate is Mandatory (Please attach in your application)
• Holder of a Full blasting license for underground operations
• 5 O’ Level Subjects
• Valid Mining First Aid
• A recognized degree or diploma in Mining Engineering is added advantage.
• At least 2 years hard rock mining experience in trackless mining.
• Must be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
