People Operations Specialist

About the opportunity

We are currently looking for a People Ops Specialist to join our People team. The People Ops Specialist will support various People Operations tasks within the employee life cycle, such as contractual changes, onboarding, right to work and payroll administration. You will report into our People Operations Manager and there will be a requirement of being in our London office 2-3 times a week.


Responsibilities

You will:

  • Be the first point of contact for any employee queries such as, hiring, preboarding, onboarding, probation reviews, absence management, payroll queries, termination policies and offboarding.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and scope of work with other functions to enhance the people agenda and strategy.
  • Utilise the HRIS to ensure there is data integrity and 100% data accuracy.
  • Support on HR tasks as necessary

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years experience within an HR administrative role, with a sound understanding of UK employment law
  • Previous experience of an HRIS (BambooHR is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of payroll is a plus
  • Shows initiative and can do attitude
  • Works collaboratively - recognises the value and responsibility of working in a team and seeks to maintain and build effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment, maintaining a professional demeanour
  • High level of proficiency in Google suite of programs with intermediate to advanced level Google sheet/Excel skills.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset with desire to continuously learn and grow
