People Program & Operations Rotation
This is a unique rotation within Stripe’s People team. Over the course of 18 months, you will work on two teams focused on different points in the employee lifecycle: onboarding (People Operations team) and ongoing employee development (Organizational Development team). Your experience and perspective gained will benefit the rotating teams, your career, and your next step. Within your time on rotation, you will have the opportunity to connect with and learn about other functions within Stripe.
People Operations Team
At Stripe, our new hire onboarding program provides a unique opportunity to educate new Stripes on Stripe’s vision, product, operating processes and place in the wider industry. First impressions matter, and you will be a key part in setting new Stripes up for success. You’ll be helping the new hire onboarding team support Stripe’s growth by coordinating the logistical details for our global employee onboarding so that we can give them the most up-to-date tools, information and support they need to spin up thoroughly and efficiently.
Organizational Development Team
The Organizational Development Team at Stripe looks after Education, Org Enablement & Efficiency, and Workforce Strategy, and is looking for someone to be part of this dynamic and fast-moving team. As the team administrator, you will be responsible for managing our Learning Management System, coordinating and scheduling learning opportunities, working with external vendors and managing incoming requests to the team.
You will:
- Support the Organizational Development team and the People Operations team, for two rotations of 9 months each, focusing on optimizing each team’s operations
- Coordinate schedules and manage the logistics - including communications - related to Stripe courses, programs, facilitators, and participants; for onboarding and ongoing education globally
- Review data from courses and programs, synthesize themes and areas of improvement, and communicate these with facilitators and course owners (internal employees and external vendors)
- Provide positive experiences as you answer questions and address issues for the variety of users you’ll work with: teammates, partners on other teams, facilitators, and learners
- Use and manage our learning management system (LMS), including investigating and reporting on usage and user experience, troubleshooting issues, documenting best practices, and providing system use training
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 0-2 years work experience
- Previous experience scheduling or coordinating in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced Mac OS and Google suite skills (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
- Ability to be a team player; adept at working with multiple people at any given time
- Incredible organizational skills; superb attention to detail
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with some of our core tools: MailMerge, Donut, Workday, Intellum
- Ability to build and document tools processes, workflow, and guides for stakeholders
- Ability to shift priorities based on the current business needs and to make progress in a timely manner on multiple, concurrent projects
