Pharmacy Operations Support
TLDR
Supports nationwide pharmacy operations by standardizing processes, coordinating programs, and driving reporting and training across a cross-functional network.
- Support the execution of national pharmacy strategies and contribute to standardizing operational practices across pharmacy networks.
- Respond to pharmacy-related inquiries, including issues related to billing, copays, inventory, insurance, audits, and compliance.
- Collect, validate, and consolidate operational reports from pharmacy partners, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in pharmacy initiatives such as inventory reconciliation, retro-billing tracking, and process improvement activities.
- Support the launch of new products and programs by coordinating communication, documentation, and workflow updates.
- Help develop and maintain SOPs, process flows, and internal documentation related to pharmacy operations.
- Ensure completion of required training and assist in tracking pharmacy staff certifications and training compliance.
- Support standardization of pharmacy systems and tools across the organization.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Pharmacy Technician studies is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or related operational environments.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and experience with pharmacy systems is highly valued.
- Knowledge of pharmacy adjudication and insurance-related calculations (co-pays, balances, days of supply) is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset in Canada.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, compliance-driven healthcare environment.
- Competitive salary range of $48,000 – $74,030 CAD annually.
