PixiJS Developer (India)

We are seeking a talented PixiJS Developer to create engaging 2D web-based games and interactive experiences. In this role, you will work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to implement visually appealing game mechanics and animations. You will contribute to building optimized, high-performance applications that run seamlessly across multiple devices. This position offers a collaborative and creative environment where your expertise in JavaScript and game development principles will directly impact the quality and user experience of our digital products. The role encourages innovation, problem-solving, and ownership of projects from conception to deployment.

Accountabilities:

·         Develop and implement 2D web-based games using Pixi.js and JavaScript.

·         Integrate animations, physics, and game mechanics into interactive experiences.

·         Collaborate with artists and designers to incorporate visual assets, audio, and effects.

·         Debug, optimize, and refactor code to ensure smooth performance across devices and platforms.

·         Maintain coding standards and follow best practices for game development.

·         Ensure seamless integration of games into websites or applications.

·         Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on gameplay, UI, and UX.

Requirements

·         Proficiency in Pixi.js and JavaScript programming.

·         Strong understanding of 2D game development, including physics, animations, and game mechanics.

·         Experience with web technologies like HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, HTML, and CSS.

·         Familiarity with game design patterns, architectures, and software development best practices.

·         Knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to implement art assets.

·         Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

·         Portfolio demonstrating prior Pixi.js projects or web-based games.

·         Ability to optimize graphics and assets for performance and cross-platform compatibility.
